What will be our hiring process?

The product and engineering team are based out of India. But the entire team works from their home and is completely remote from day one. Having said that, we are planning to experiment with a hybrid workplace for people who do not prefer working from home.

Where are we located?

Senior Product Engineer

As a frontend engineer at Trainn, you will be expected to develop or enhance user-facing features based on business requirements, as well as ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. You will participate in requirements refinement sessions to uncover business, functional, and technological requirements for the asset as well as contribute to the design &amp; effort estimation of the solution to these requirements.

As an early and core member of the team, you will be working with founders and senior members of the business team to own and manage the development &amp; delivery of critical software engineering challenges. As a senior member, you will be responsible for designing and developing software applications using the cutting-edge technologies. Working with web developers and other software engineers, java software engineers are involved in every stage of the development life cycle from the initial design, through to final testing.

Overall 7+  years of software development experience in building web-based and highly scalable applications.

Excellent understanding of core computer science concepts like algorithms, data structure, system design, OOP, etc.

Expertise in building mission-critical, microservices-based, cloud-native web applications using Java technologies or equivalent back end technology.

Expertise in leading a team in design & architecture discussions, introducing new tools, concepts & processes to the team, and guiding other members of the team

Good understanding of any JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as React.JS, Redux.JS, AngularJS, etc.

Principal Software Engineer

As an Expert Test Automation Engineer at Squareshift, you will design, develop, and execute the end-to-end automation test scripts for testing customer facing web applications. You will use the latest test automation technologies such as Selenium, Puppeteer/Playwright, etc. to design test automation plans, build test automation scripts, and maintain user acceptance regression test suites. You will own, identify and fix the test automation, test environments and keep the test suites clean. You will use the latest lean and agile methods, create pragmatic solutions to solve mission-critical problems and challenge yourself every day.

Should be a Selenium Test Automation Engineer with 7 to 10 years of relevant experience with a strong programming background

Experience in building the Selenium WebDriver,  automation test scripts for Java based web applications in a wide variety of industry verticals including online retails, teleco, financial services, and healthcare

Ability to create stubs, mocks; create synthetic test data; and manage test environment

Good written and verbal communication

Good knowledge of database concepts, having SQL writing experience, and familiarity with at least one of the relational databases
